The world’s main coffee-growing regions can be roughly divided up into the following:

Arabia and Africa

Sweet-flavored with an acidity that is somewhat tart or sparkling, and often with a wonderful fruity aroma.

Indonesia and the Pacific

Lower acidity, smooth taste with exotic and earthy elements, and are usually full-bodied and smooth.

Americas

Usually light- to medium-bodied with a clean feel in the mouth, just slightly sweet, and with a lively acidity.
